Topics for Discussion
· General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how this impacts your firm on employment law
· Employment tribunals: How to protect your business against rising claims following the abolition of tribunal fees in July
· How to reduce sickness and absence
· Employment documentation - what you need to have and how often it should be updated
· Employee discipline and grievance situations: top tips for managing sensitive situations
The number of Employment Tribunal claims in the Retail Sector are rising – following the abolishing of tribunal fees by the Supreme Court in July. Your employees are now more likely to make a claim, which will cost around £5,000+VAT in Solicitors fees for one off tribunal support.
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect May 2018 and affects not only the pawnbroking data stored and marketing, but also the information you hold about staff. Croner will focus on the employment aspects.
