Trading Standards & Assay Office

We are aware that joint unannounced visits are being carried by local Trading Standards Officers and the Assay Office. I appreciate this is an extremely busy time of year for your stores, if you could advise your stores that visits are taking place and to remind themselves of the Hallmarking Act requirements. If your stores do receive a visit, please could you contact the NPA, which will allow us to keep track of the number of visits and which areas are being visited.
