The course is specifically designed to support buyers, technologists and those responsible for quality assurance in fine and costume jewellery and accessories with a metal plating. Delegates will gain an understanding of the basic principles of the plating process and recognised best practice.  Factors which could impact quality, durability and compliance with current legislation will be explained. The course content will highlight important and appropriate factors to include in a specification and the most likely causes of quality or consumer satisfaction issues. A practical demonstration will show how the final product can be tested to determine the plating and assessed top ensure the specification has been met.
