FCA have issued a short survey to 13,000 firms including pawnbrokers and asks 10 questions of which one does not apply to pawnbrokers. They say the responses will help them obtain an accurate view of the impact of Coronavirus and will help FCA in their work to mitigate risks of harm to consumers, the market and competition within it. They do not intend to publish the outcomes of this survey. The surveys will be issued in two batches- 4th June and 8th June and in both cases firms will have 7 working days to go online and complete the survey. The questions cover:-
-Cash availability, recent financial performance (where information is available), scale of activity and whether members have used any of the recent Government schemes.
