NPA continues to work remotely and is focused on keeping members up to date during the lockdown period. NPA campaigned for pawnbrokers to be considered an essential service and this has given members the option to stay open which some have taken. Guidance to date has included Information on Schooling, Ensuring Continuity for those Closing, Risk Assessments and Staff Safety re Covid-19, The Job Retention Scheme, Statutory Leave under Covid-19, Loans, Contracts, Data, and Property, FCA Expectations and Suspension of Insolvency.
