Whilst the Brits rush for toilet rolls and hand sanitiser, Ammo.com, a US online ammunition dealer, reported a 434 percent increase in ammo sales over the past month. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, told its members that the FBI saw a 300 percent increase in requests for background checks through its National Instant Criminal Background Check System. Firearms can be pawned in many American states and there were reports of people paying back their loans early in order to repossess their firearms.
