2012 NPA Awards

The 81st NPA Annual Conference and Awards were held in London on 12th October 2012. The theme of the conference was ‘Excellence in Pawnbroking’. Delegates discussed themes including how pawnbroking has changed, the impact of legislation on the industry, and how pawnbrokers are working in partnership with the Police to help prevent and combat crime.

The winners of the prestigious 2012 NPA Awards were:

  • Employee of the Year: Deborah Howard, The Money Shop
    • Highly Commended - Chris Smith, Robert Biggars

  • Rising Star: James Constantinou, Director, Prestige Pawnbroking
  • Employer of the Year: H&T Pawnbrokers
    • Highly Commended - Ramsdens Financial Ltd

NPA Chief Executive, Ray Perry, said:
