One Day Course
This one day introductory course will give you a fascinating insight into jewellery types and styles, from the late 18th Century through to the mid-20th Century. The hands on course focuses on the more affordable everyday jewellery of each period, and provides key information for dating jewellery on stylistic grounds. This will involve discussing Diamond cuts, Gemstone types, hallmarks and jewellery construction. Current values both at auction and in the antique market will also be discussed. This course may be of interest to those working in auction houses, the antique trade, pawnbrokers and the antique enthusiast alike.
